WHAT'S NEXT for PHILANTHROPY
On June 6th, DVG welcomed Gabriel Kasper, strategist with the Monitor Institute, for a special event to explore ideas from the recent report, What's Next for Philanthropy. Kasper (pictured right) led DVG's board and volunteer leaders in a dialogue about ways that philanthropy can "act bigger and adapt better” in order to be more effective in our more networked, dynamic, and interdependent world.

Food Funders Host Donors with an Appetite for Change
On June 27th, several DVG members came together to host a special evening designed specifically for individual donors and foundation trustees to learn about critical food-related issues and possible solutions. The event, Appetite for Change, featured Phillies pitcher Brad Lidge and his wife Lindsay, who shared their story about why food-related issues matter to them and how they are making a difference.
In conjunction with the event, DVG developed A Donor's Guide to Food Funding in Greater Philadelphia, which profiles over 80 food-related grantees of 20 regional funders.
Thanks to the Claneil Foundation and Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission for supporting the production of the guide.
DVG members share their One Great Idea
