What do leaders of philanthropic and nonprofit organizations need to know and do in order to create
breakthrough results in this time of rapid change, challenges, and uncertainty?

Join us on Thursday, October 28th for DVG's 2010 Fall Conference, Breakthrough: New Thinking for New ResultsThe economic downturn has led both funders and nonprofits to rethink approaches to their work in an effort to make the most of their resources to achieve better outcomes. At this year's gathering we will explore new ways we can consider going about this re-thinking in order to achieve greater impact, both in terms of grantmaking and service delivery.

Our day will kick-off with a highly interactive session led by Dr. Saj-nicole Joni. Dr.  Joni is a confidential strategist and adviser to CEOs and their teams around the globe. Her clients include leaders of the Fortune 100, as well as many major nonprofit organizations. Dr. Joni is the author of The Third Opinion and co-author of The Right Fight. In a highly interactive session, Dr. Joni will offer provocative and powerful ideas, including ways to use healthy conflict and a networked approach to achieve breakthrough performance.

Building on the themes from the morning dialogue, an interdisciplinary panel will discussnew thinking and actions that have led to breakthroughs a variety of fields.

As always, the day will include plenty of time to connect with friends and colleagues - and one or two surprises.

Watch for additional details about the conference and registration information coming soon.

Registration will open in mid-September.
