The North Penn Community Heath Foundation was established
in October 2001 with the proceeds from the sale of North
Penn Hospital to Universal Health Services of King of
Prussia, Pennsylvania. NPCHF's mission is to identify,
select and invest in programs and agencies that will
improve the health, welfare and quality of life of its
community. In 2002, the foundation commissioned the
"North Penn Community Health Needs Assessment"
which will serve to guide NPCHF's grantmaking efforts
through an analysis of the health care and social service
needs of North Penn residents. NPCHF is an active member
of DVG's Health
Conversion Foundation Affinity Group. Visit the
North
Penn Community Health Foundation's web site to find
out more about their history, mission, service community
and grant guidelines.
